Notes on the dates
- Author progress update, 15 November 2026. A short note from each selected author confirming that the paper is on track. Silence at this point is taken as withdrawal.
- Extensions. Requests made before a deadline are usually granted once, for up to two weeks. Requests made after a deadline has passed are not.
- Late acceptance. A paper accepted after 20 March 2027 is carried to the following issue rather than delaying the issue.
- Proofs. Authors have the copyediting window, 21–27 March 2027, to approve proofs. Corrections at proof stage are limited to errors.
