Author Guidelines

Submit your manuscript in DOCX. Use Unicode fonts throughout; IAST is required for Sanskrit terms in English articles.

Anonymise your file. Remove your name from the text and also from the document properties: File → Info → Check for Issues → Inspect Document → Document Properties and Personal Information → Remove All. The system cannot do this for you.

Provide a separate title page with author names, affiliations, ORCID and contact details. Abstracts must be between 150 and 250 words, followed by five to seven keywords.

Distinguish primary texts from secondary literature in your references, and give edition details for any Sanskrit or regional-language text central to your argument. Long quotations must carry a translation; where the translation is your own, state “translation by author”.

Every submission must carry the required declarations — originality, authorship, conflict of interest, funding, use of AI tools, permissions and, for field material, ethics and consent.
