Author Guidelines

General submission requirements

  • Submissions must be original and must not be under consideration elsewhere.
  • Authors should follow the Journal’s requirements for manuscript structure, language, sources, transliteration and referencing.
  • Authors are responsible for the accuracy of citations, quotations, translations, references and data.
  • Required declarations must be provided at the full-manuscript stage.
  • Manuscripts should be prepared for double-anonymous peer review.
  • Research involving living communities, practitioners or knowledge-holders should follow appropriate ethical and consent requirements.

Anonymise your file. Do not include author names or identifying information in the manuscript, and remove identifying information from the document properties. Provide author details on a separate title page. The system cannot do this for you.

Submit as both DOCX and PDF — there is a slot for each and both are required — with Unicode fonts throughout. Sanskrit terms follow IAST. For passages central to the argument, give the original text, the transliteration and the translation, and where the translation is your own, say so.

Every full manuscript must also state its Thematic Domain, at least one Meta-Knowledge Lens and a Lens Statement of 100–200 words, and carry the required declarations — originality, authorship, conflict of interest, funding, AI-use disclosure, permissions and, where applicable, ethics and consent and data availability.
